Friday the 13th

I am not a fan of Friday the 13th.  I am not sure how many there have been in my lifetime, but I could count.  What I do know is that I can think of about a half dozen that I would like to erase.  I have learned to not fear the date, but it doesn't mean that I have to come right out and like it.

The WOD:

4 Rounds for Time

13 Burpees
13 Toes to Bar
13 Situps
13 Pullups

    13 Situps

16:00--and that's not a guess, that's a flat time! Nice, right? I had to get up and going right on time today because I had an early morning contractor pick-up.

Good WOD. G: I am always impressed with your sneaky creativity. 4 RFT, 13 reps: 4/13. Nice.

I've convinced my roommates to double WOD with me today and Cale and Phil to run with me today. Awesome.

Week of eating no crap is going well. Carl helped me to hold out on the ice cream last night. Thanks, Carl.

  2. I ran a little today. I think my back is good. As good as it was before the incident.

My eating has been mostly good. A little chocolate today. But good.

So, how do you do these double unders? Just a good pike position and a good rope and a lot of slashes across my legs until I get the timing right?

LOVED the money post! I am with you. I coud give it all away. I am. A lot at a time. Spence is going to cry. Ah well. We can do things differently next year.

  3. Friday the 13th got me - I jumped the car twice. I don't think it si going to start in the morning.

And the 'run' was my running home to get the spare keys when I locked the first set in the car at swim team practice.
